Your AI runs the store. You approve.
Connect your own ChatGPT or Claude to your store. It reads the catalog, proposes the change and waits. Nothing is written until you say yes, and every write can be rolled back.
- Nothing to install
- 14-day trial on connect
- Every write reversible
Three steps. Nothing to install.
The server is hosted. Your assistant reaches it through a connector address, the same way it reaches any other app.
Create an account and connect your store
Your store key is encrypted on the server and never shown to the assistant.
Install our Shopify app from your console. No tokens to copy.
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key, Read/Write. Paste the key and secret.
Add the connector to ChatGPT or Claude
Settings → Connectors → Add, then paste this address and authorize. Choose all your stores, or lock the connection to one.
https://mcp.storeoperators.com/mcpAsk it to read your store's memory
The first job changes nothing. Your assistant writes down what the store is and how it talks, and asks you only for what it can't find. Every job after that starts from this memory.
The jobs a store actually has
Pick a job. Each one runs the same way: your assistant explores, shows you the exact change, and writes only after you approve.
Every write goes through custody
Custody is four things around a write: back it up, get a human yes, check it landed, keep the way back. The server enforces all four on every write. The checks run on the server, so the assistant can't skip one.
- Delete
- There is no delete tool. The assistant can't remove a product, page or customer through this server.
- Orders
- Read for reports only. No tool changes an order.
- Customers
- Kept out of reports. Shopify never sends names, emails or addresses. On WooCommerce they're masked before your assistant sees anything.
- Scope
- You decide per store, and per person, what can be read and what can be written.
- The model
- Yours. The server runs no AI of its own and never sees your chat.
The guardrails lower the risk. They don't remove it. You stay in the loop on every write, you read the diff before you approve, and you're responsible for what goes live.
The book's operating system, served to your agent
Along with access, the server hands your assistant the loop, the custody rules and 23 playbooks from The AI-Run Store, so it works the way the book teaches.
One connector for every store you run
Authorize all your stores once. Your assistant names the store it's working on before every change, and each person works on their own token with their own permissions.
- Operators
- Everyone on their own token. Every change is logged to the person who approved it.
- Roles
- Admins set what each member may read and write, store by store.
- Isolation
- A write only reaches the store you selected. A client can get a connection locked to their store alone.
Per store, in the open
The 14-day trial of the full product starts when you connect a store, not when you sign up. Shopify stores pay through Shopify. Everyone else pays through Stripe.
What it doesn't do
Nothing writes without a yes. Reads can run on a schedule. A scheduled write is a change you already approved, fired later.
The hosted server has no browser. To check how a page looks, your assistant or you open the live page.
Order reports on Shopify need Shopify's approval for protected customer data. Catalog, prices, collections, theme and translations don't.
We don't operate your store. Your assistant does, under your approval. If you'd rather have it set up with you, that is a separate engagement on storeoperators.com.
Connect your first store
Free to start. The trial begins when the store is connected. Your assistant's first job is to learn the store.
